Registrations can be accepted onsite, provided full payment is made via credit card.

The conference dinner is an optional extra event. The Symposium is able to offer all full delegates a subsidised dinner ticket for $55.00.

Delegates MUST register their interest in attending a workshop.


Failure to register for a workshop will be acknowledged as the delegate does not wish to attend a workshop and subsequently will not be included.


Welcome Reception
The Welcome Reception will be held on the evening of the 26 October 2015. Canapés and Drinks (Beer, Wine, Soft drink and Juice) are included. This function is included in the full registration only. Tickets can be purchased from the registration form.


Symposium Dinner
The Symposium Dinner will be held on the evening of the 27 October 2015. The Symposium is able to offer all delegates a discounted ticket price. Additional tickets can be purchased from the registration page. Please note one bottle of red wine, white wine and a jug of juice will be provided on each table. All other drinks are at the delegates expense.


Early Bird Registration
Early Bird Registration is available for registrations received and paid before COB Friday 18 September 2015. Registrations not paid by that date will be re-invoiced at the standard rate.


Concession Registration
Concession Registration Rate is available for Carers, Consumers, Students and Non-working delegates only. Please confirm which of these categories applies to you when completing the registration form.


Once registration is received a confirmation email and tax invoice will be issued. All accounts must be paid in full 30 days from the invoice date or 10 business days before the symposium start date, whichever comes first. Payment for Early Bird registrations must be received by Friday 18 September 2015.


The organisers reserve right, without notification, to cancel outstanding accounts anytime after 30 days from date of tax invoice being sent. If payment is not received prior to the symposium, access will be granted only after full payment is made via credit card or cash.


All registrations received after Monday, 12 October 2015 must be paid in full by credit card only.


Refunds and Cancellations
The symposium committee understands that circumstances can change. At any point prior to the event you are welcome to contact us in writing to nominate a substitute delegate at no extra charge.

A full refund less a $150 service fee will be issued for cancellations received on or before 13 September 2015. Registration cancellation received between 14 September and 27 September 2015 will receive a 50% refund on the registration fees. No refunds will be issued after 28 September 2015. Non payment does not constitute cancellation.


All accommodation bookings will be subject to the individual hotel cancellation policy. Please contact the secretariat for the hotel cancellation policy.

It is the responsibility of delegate's to arrange their own travel insurance. The conference does not endorse or have any arrangements with any companies. The following links are provided for information only.



The organisers reserve the right to change activities, topics and presenters where necessary. The organisers shall not be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation of the conference where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The term "Force Majeure" means any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the organisers including but not limited to War, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), terrorism, aircraft hijacking, military operation, riot, civil war, rebellion, civil commotion or unrest, Acts or Regulations of government, refusal to grant visas, explosions, transport delays, transport difficulties and the insolvency of airline carriers. The organisers will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the conference despite the intervention or occurrence of any such cause.
