Client Services Manager, Ambulance Tasmania and Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management (AT & DPFEM)
Meg is a registered Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience working in clinical and research roles within the public health system. She currently holds the role of Wellbeing Support, Client Services Manager, for Ambulance Tasmania (AT) and the Department of Police, Fire and Emergency (DPFEM) Services. The focus being to provide proactive and preventative mental health and wellbeing services to all AT and DPFEM staff and volunteers seeking support, using a mix of in-house and externally provided services. Meg has a special interest in deepening the understanding of the mechanisms underpinning moral injury, evidence-based treatment options, sleep strategies, suicide assessment and prevention, and people focused leadership to enhance the positive impact on wellbeing for emergency service personnel.
