Day Registration does not include functions or workshops. Tickets can be purchased from the registration form.

Workshops – 11 October 2017 – more information

Delegates can purchase a ticket to attend the workshops on Wednesday 11 October. The workshops are an additional cost and are not included in the full registration or day registration fee. Tickets can be purchased from the registration form.

Tickets to the Welcome Reception are included in full registrations only and includes drinks and canapes. Tickets can be purchased from the registration form for day delegates and partners.

Early Bird Registration

An Early Bird rate is being offered to those who register and pay prior to 5pm Wednesday 30 August 2017. All new and outstanding registrations will be transferred to the standard rate after this date.

Concession Registration

Concession registration is available for carers, full time students and unwaged persons. A discount will be applied to the full registration only (not including the presenter and day rate).

Payment

Once registration is received a confirmation email and tax invoice will be issued. All accounts must be paid in full 30 days from the invoice date or 10 business days before the Symposium start date, whichever comes first. The organisers reserve right, without notification, to cancel outstanding accounts any time after 30 days from date of tax invoice being sent.

All registrations received on or after Monday 25 September 2017 must be paid in full by credit card only. If payment is not received prior to the Symposium, access will be granted only after full payment is made via credit card or cash.

Refunds and Cancellations

The Symposium Committee understands that circumstances can change. At any point prior to the event you are welcome to contact us in writing to nominate a substitute delegate at no extra charge. A full refund less a $150 service fee will be issued for cancellations received on or before 30 August 2017. Registration cancellation received between 31 August and 13 September 2017 will receive a 50% refund on the registration fees. No refunds will be issued after 14 September 2017. Non-payment does not constitute cancellation.

Accommodation Cancellation
All accommodation bookings will be subject to the individual hotel cancellation policy. Please contact the Symposium Secretariat for the hotel cancellation policy.

Insurance
It is the responsibility of delegate’s to arrange their own travel insurance. The Symposium does not endorse or have any arrangements with any companies. The following are provided for your information only.

Disclaimer
The Symposium Organisers reserve the right to change activities, topics and presenters where necessary. The Organisers shall not be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation of the Symposium where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The term “Force Majeure” means any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the Organisers including but not limited to War, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), terrorism, aircraft hijacking, military operation, riot, civil war, rebellion, civil commotion or unrest, Acts or Regulations of government, refusal to grant visas, explosions, transport delays, transport difficulties and the insolvency of airline carriers. The Organisers will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the Symposium despite the intervention or occurrence of any such cause.
