About the Speaker

Jane Gilmore is an author, ex journalist, feminist, and consent educator. She has been researching and writing about the causes and effects of violence and poverty for over a decade and is now also involved in delivering consent and respectful relationships education in Australian schools. Her books include Fixed It: Violence and the Representation of Women in the Media, Teaching Consent, and Fairy Tale Princesses Will Kill Your Children.
