South Africa’s Professor David Edwards will focus on Schema therapy in 2018: The state of the science and the state of the art. As President of the International Society of Schema Therapy, he has trained in cognitive-behavioural, humanistic and transpersonal approaches to psychotherapy and has a longstanding interest in psychotherapy integration.
Dr Louise Hayes from Australia will delve into DNA-V: Using processes evidence to become flexible in treatments. She is well known for her work using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for young people. Together with Joseph Ciarrochi, she conducts research and treatment development; the latest work is DNA-V, a treatment model for young people.
