Shona Louis
Peer Researcher, Murdoch Children's Research Institute
Shona Louis (she/her) is a peer researcher and lived experience practitioner with a focus on lived experience in research, digital innovation, and youth mental health. Her work encompasses two dynamic areas of mental health in Australia – digital mental health and elevating lived and living experiences of consumers within research. Shona coordinates Growing Minds Australia’s Lived Experience Research Network, furthering lived experience partnerships in child mental health research nationally. She has extensive experience in facilitating co-design and co-production of novel digital mental health interventions, including the MOST online therapy service, and VR treatments for young people with early psychosis.
