Peer Researcher, Murdoch Children's Research Institute
Shona Louis (she/her) is a peer researcher and lived experience practitioner with a focus on building digital mental health interventions that are inclusive of young people’s needs and realities. Her work encompasses two dynamic areas of mental health in Australia – digital mental health and elevating lived and living experiences within mental health. Shona leads Orygen Digital’s Lived Experience Participation Program, aiming to embed lived expertise across strategy, research and service innovation. She has extensive experience in the co-design of digital interventions, including the MOST online therapy service, and VR treatments for young people experiencing psychosis.
