I am an Arrernte woman; I am currently a Lecturer at CQUniversity, Queensland. I am the First Nations discipline lead for the School of Arts and teach and co-ordinate First Nations studies.

I am a qualitative researcher and look for areas of disadvantage, inequity, and injustice where research is needed and where I can make a difference. In 2022, I also joined the newly created Manna Institute which is comprised of the Regional Universities Network (RUN). The research focus of the institute is rural/remote/regional mental health.
