Associate Professor Skye Charry

Dr Skye Charry is a nationally recognised authority on workplace sexual harassment, gender equity, and rural culture. Raised in central western New South Wales, she brings a deep understanding of rural life to her work creating safer, fairer workplaces. Skye is Co Founder of S.A.C. Consulting Australia, delivering cultural reviews and gender equity programs nationwide, and an Associate Professor of Law at the University of New England. Her groundbreaking book Whispers from the Bush inspired the documentary Grace Under Fire and informed the Australian Human Rights Commission’s Respect@Work reforms. Skye is an Independent Director of the National Rural Women’s Coalition and the Australian Gender Equality Council, and an advisory member of the Australia and New Zealand Mental Health Association.
