Professor Michael Salter is the Director of the East Asia and Pacific Hub of Childlight, based in the School of Social Sciences at the University of New South Wales, Australia. Childlight is a global child safety institute dedicated to research for impact on child sexual exploitation and abuse. Professor Salter is the Chairperson of the Grace Tame Foundation, dedicated to the prevention of child sexual abuse, and a past president of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, the premier global organisation for the study and treatment of complex trauma.
