The Team: What we do
Te Whare Manaaki is a Secure Forensic Unit. The unit is mixed and our staffing reflects this with the agreed gender ratio. The Forensic Service is a fulfilling and dynamic environment with opportunities to further your knowledge and expertise.

We pride ourselves working as a team in collaboration and partnership with consumers and family/whanau and strive to work within our philosophy to develop therapeutic, supportive and empowering relationships with consumers, to enable them to achieve their personal goals and aspirations
Previous mental health experience is essential. Excellent time management skills. A current NZ Driving Licence. The positions are based on a roster thus flexibility across all shifts is imperative. A comprehensive staff orientation package is provided. If you have a current NZ Registered Nursing Practising Certificate that includes a scope of practice for Mental Health then this could be the new career challenge for you.
