Professor Nicki Dowling is a professor of psychology at Deakin University in Australia. She is a registered clinical psychologist who has had considerable experience in the treatment of gambling problems in specialist gambling services. She has been an active researcher in field of gambling studies for over 25 years and she has published around 300 articles and reports. Her area of research expertise is in the identification, prevention, and treatment of people with gambling harm and their affected others. Nicki leads a program of research relating to the development and evaluation of a suite of theoretically-informed and evidence-based mobile health (mhealth) gambling treatments.
