Nicole Mainwaring is a registered psychologist and senior health leader with over 25 years’ experience advancing victim survivor centred, trauma informed responses to family, sexual and domestic violence. She is the Statewide Manager of Tasmania’s Family Violence Counselling and Support Service (FVCSS) within the Department of Health. Nicole brings expertise in service governance, integrated system design and cross agency collaboration. Her work spans clinical practice, program development, workforce capability, policy implementation and risk management. She has a sustained focus on safeguarding children, embedding lived experience perspectives, and supporting safety, recovery and wellbeing, while contributing strategically to national reform and prevention leadership.
