He kōrero mō te tūranga - The role
You'll have a varied and exciting role that doesn't come without it's challenges. A significant part of the role comes with the responsibility to lead the development of our Auckland based "Ease Up" services, which provide primary community based, mental health and addiction services for young people
You will lead, coach and develop a team of focused Service Managers to ensure continuous development and improvement remain at the forefront when delivering high-quality services. Managing stakeholder relationships is an essential part of the role, which includes working closely with funders and referrers but also ensuring whānau are actively engaged and participating in the delivery and development of our services.
As the District Manager, you will also ensure the operational, financial, HR and contract management needs of our services are being met.
He kōrero mōu - About you
You'll have a strong cultural competency and have the flexibility to change and adapt new ways of doing things. You'll have the ability to work in ambiguous times, and grasp onto and respond to changes in the sector.
Ideally you will have a Health, Social Services, Human Services or Management-related tertiary qualification or registration. However, most importantly you will have proven leadership experience and a strong understanding of the complexities involved with the delivery of our services.
In addition, you will have:
- Proven experience in leading diverse teams of staff and managing Human Resource issues
- Passion for developing and leading cohesive and innovative teams
- Flexibility to travel within your district as required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence in IT literacy
