  • 80 hours per fortnight (1FTE)

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to join our recovery-focused 
multidisciplinary team in Ngā Rau Rākau, Intensive Mental Health Service based at the Hawke's Bay 
Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital.

The focus of this autonomous role is to provide assessment, care, and therapeutic interventions to 
people experiencing acute mental illness, as well as essential psychology consultation to the team 
and professional supervision. We are looking for someone who is passionate and committed to 
improvement as the scope of the role will allow service development opportunities.

Our ideal candidate will be able to work flexibly and collaboratively with a range of professionals. You 
will need to have strong communication skills and proven psychological and psychometric 
assessment skills, and enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team. A mature, confident, and 
empathetic outlook is essential for the role. This role is supported by a professional lead for 
Psychology and professional development is encouraged.
