National Psychology Week is taking place from 10 to 16 November 2013.
National Psychology Week (NPW) is an APS initiative that aims to increase public awareness of how psychology can help people and communities lead healthier, happier and more meaningful lives.
Each November, hundreds of Australian psychologists across the country run NPW events such as community festivals, workshops, forums, seminars, presentations, teas, and displays to highlight psychology and its contribution to the Australian community. The APS also conducts an annual national survey to highlight stress and wellbeing in Australia. This comprehensive survey aims to measure the levels of stress and wellbeing, including workplace wellbeing, across the adult Australian population.
