About the Role
South West Healthcare’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service is a specialised and highly proficient team and incorporates Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Assessment. Our service is seeking applications from committed and dynamic health professionals to join them and provide experience, growth and development. There is current vacancy for part time as the Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessment Coordinator.
The primary role of the ASD Assessment Coordinator is to oversee and organise ASD assessments for children and young people aged 6 – 18 years old. The ASD Assessment Coordinator is responsible for managing the assessment waitlist, coordinating regular ASD assessment team meetings, and providing or organising education and supervision to other members of the assessment team. The Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessment Coordinator will also complete ASD assessments as a member of the ASD assessment team.
What You Bring
An experienced Clinician (Registered Psychologist with General or Clinical registration / Social Worker / Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse), with a sound appreciation of evidence-based contemporary child, adolescent and family mental health practices, would find working in this role highly rewarding.

Employment Terms and Conditions will be in line with theVictorian Public Mental Health Services Enterprise Agreement 2016-2020 or Victorian Public Health sector (Medical Scientists, Pharmacists & Psychologists) Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 and the applicable classification Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 4, Allied Health Professional/Psychologist Grade 3.
The successful applicant will be required to be eligible for membership in line with their professional discipline, consent and undergo Police Record and Working with Children’s Checks and provide evidence of current Immunisation status in alignment with South West Healthcare’s Immunisation Policy.
